UPenn Innovation Seed Grant Awardee

Sindri Materials Corp. is thrilled to announce that it is a recipient of THE UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA’S Singh Center for Nanotechnology’s Innovation Seed Grant for the second consecutive year! This grant, supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF) National Nanotechnology Coordinated Infrastructure Program, plays a pivotal role in providing crucial support to startups, granting access to essential nanofabrication and characterization equipment.

The field of nanotechnology presents unique challenges for startups as the cost implications of such equipment, both in acquisition and maintenance, can be prohibitive. However, thanks to grants like this, early-stage ventures can leverage cutting-edge equipment within a world-class cleanroom environment at academic rates, significantly reducing barriers to innovation.

Sindri extends its gratitude to the Singh Center for Nanotechnology for this invaluable opportunity and to the NSF National Nanotechnology Coordinated Infrastructure Program (NNCI-2025608) for their support. This grant not only empowers advancement of Sindri's research and development but also underscores the collaborative spirit that drives progress in the nanotechnology ecosystem.

This work was carried out in part at the Singh Center for Nanotechnology, which is supported by the NSF National Nanotechnology Coordinated Infrastructure Program under grant NNCI-2025608.
